Hereditary Cancer Risk Calculator

The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) establishes criteria (or guidelines) to evaluate for Lynch syndrome and Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer (HBOC) syndrome. If you have a personal and/or family history of cancer, you may have an undiagnosed hereditary cancer syndrome. Our team designed and developed the Hereditary Cancer Risk Calculator to help you learn about recommendations for genetic testing for these two hereditary cancer conditions.

While the evaluation result of this calculator is not a medical opinion, it can be used to initiate a discussion with your healthcare provider about genetic testing. If the calculator recommends genetic testing, please keep in mind that coverage for genetic testing will vary based on your health insurance. Many labs offer a reduced self-pay rate if testing is not covered by your health insurance plan.
